DSASMD is hosting a meet and greet gathering Saturday, February 16, 10:30 am at the Spring Dell Center In La Plata. Come meet other families and Down Syndrome advocates in the Southern Maryland area. Guest speaker Virginia Cusick will discuss upcoming Special Olympics - young athletes program and resources available for those with Down syndrome.

Virginia Cusick is an experienced physical therapist with the Charles County Infants and Toddlers program.

In addition, this will be a great opportunity to discuss DSASMD board positions and the nomination process. If you are passionate, committed and dedicated and are interested in serving on DSASMD’s Board of directors or just want to volunteer for events, this is a great way to get involved.
